ABIR CHOPRA

Abir is a design professional with over 18 years experience. He completed his Undergraduate degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan (USA) where he was awarded the Wallenberg prize for his thesis. This was followed by a stint in New York City at AKM Architects. He received his Masters of Architecture (M.Arch) from sci-arc (Los Angeles, USA) guided by the likes of Pritzker prize winning architect Thom Mayne and Eric Owen Moss. Abir moved back to New Delhi, India in 2011, where he joined the globally renowned Morphogenesis. He began his private practice in 2014 and has since completed a wide array of projects spanning Residential, Institutional and Commercial Space design and planning.

"My interest in Design is particularly informed by a consciousness of the way interior environments influence human experience. I am always aware of how a meticulous design selection can promote and support spaces for harmonious interaction. This awareness is what motivates my practice".

Varrun Motihar began practicing Interior Architecture and Furniture Design in 2009. His work has featured in some of the country’s leading design journals - Elle Décor, Architectural Digest & Good Homes. Good Homes awarded Varrun the Interior Stylist of the Year Award in 2015. Elle Décor and India Design (ID) recognized and awarded him as one of the “Top 10 Living Spaces Designers in 2019. In 2016 Varrun was accredited by DesignXDesign at the French Alliance in New Delhi as one of the Top 20 under 35 designers in the country. Additionally, Varrun has been a reoccurring judge and jury member at the Ace Tech Design Exhibition. His portfolio includes a varying mix of Residential, Food & Beverage, Hospitality, and Commercial Space design.

Varrun Motihar has a Bachelors Degree in Economics (2005), American University, Washington DC and a Masters Diploma in Architectural Interior Design (2008), KLC School of Design, London.
